As from 1 March 2023, the Minister of Employment and Labour increased the National Minimum Wage (NMW) from R23.19 per hour to R25.42 per hour as well as the earnings threshold from R224, 080.48 per year (R18, 673 per month) to R241, 110.59 per year (R20, 092 per month).
